Winona S. Nix, 76 of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Cremation is planned. Celebration of Life Service is planned for a later date in Honolulu, Hawaii. Winona was born on Thursday, May 6, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the daughter of Manuel and Diane (Figaro) Robello. Survivors include her four children, Diane Kawana and husband Clifford of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Debbie Valek and husband Tony of Ottawa, Leilani Robello and Don Berger of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Dino Ortis of Scottsdale, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to Franklin County Cancer Foundation c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
