William Lester "Bill" McNatt was born on March 6, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas to Guy Lester McNatt and Helen Harriett (Kueker) McNatt. Bill was one of three children born.
Bill lived in Shawnee, Kansas in his early years, graduating from Shawnee Mission North.
He Married Rita Ann Davey Obermeier in 1964. Of this union one child was born, William Scott McNatt in 1967. The couple would later divorce in 1972.
In the same year, Bill met Sharon Kay Moloski and were married in September of 1974. Of this union one child was born, Christopher William McNatt.
Bill and Sharon both worked for Southwestern Bell, where they actually met, until Bill's retirement. After his retirement, Bill ventured out into auctioneering, starting McNatt Auctions.
Bill loved his animals that he and Sharon gathered on their hobby farm in rural Paola where they lived for over 40 years.
Bill served in Vietnam in the Army where he earned many medals including, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Two Overseas Bars, Arcom, and Rifle Expert.
He leaves behind his son, Scott McNatt and Son-In-Law, Dennis Blankinship, Son, Chris McNatt and Daughter-In-Law. Blair Ballard. Grandson, Kole McNatt, Granddaughter, Ally McNatt and Grandson, Crew McNatt. Sister, Karen Dewey, long time friend, Marcia Lee, Craig and Barbara Johnson, Janet and Mike Williams, Melanie Duncan, Cindy and Ron Ashby, L.E. and Debbie Kueker, as well as many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and great-great-nephew, many cousins and countless friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his folks, Sharon and his sister, Jeanene Johnson, and Brothers-In-Law, Kenney Johnson and Bob Dewey.

The family would like to add that we are grateful for the personal care and attention from Cedar Lake Village staff and residents/friends, as well as the loving care from everyone at the Olathe Hospice House.
