Valentin Jabe

Valentin Jabe, age 85 of El Dorado, Kansas, formerly of Ottawa, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on Tuesday, February 14, 1928, in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Jesus and Concepcion (Delarosa) Jabe. Valentin has lived in El Dorado, Kansas for the last year moving there from Mulvane, Kansas. He had previously lived in Ottawa from 1980 to 2008. On February 14, 1961 Valentin was united in marriage with Maria L. Jasso in Reynosa, Mexico. She preceded him in death. He was a life-long farmer retiring in 1992. Survivors include: Daughter – Cindy Bohnert of Orlando, Florida; Son –Jose J. Jabe, Ottawa, Kansas; Son –Jose L. Jabe, Ottawa, Kansas; Son –Jose G. Jabe, Rio Bravo, Mexico; Daughter – Maria J. DeSantiago, Plainview, Texas; Daughter – Maria C. Lindquist and her husband Scott, El Dorado, Kansas; Grandchildren – Twenty-One and Great Grandchildren – Seventeen. He is preceded in death by his: Wife – Maria L. (Jasso) Jabe; Daughter – Maria A. Jabe; Son – Jose A. Jabe; Grandson – Josue M. Jabe and Parents – Jesus and Concepcion (Delarosa) Jabe.
