Traci Pearce

Traci Jo Pearce, beloved wife, mother, and daughter, passed away on August 2, 2025, at AdventHealth Ottawa in Ottawa, Kansas. Born on May 16, 1980, in Ottawa, Kansas, Traci embodied warmth, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.

A proud graduate with a Bachelor's degree, Traci cultivated a passionate career in education, inspiring countless young minds throughout her journey as a teacher. Her dedication to nurturing future generations was matched by her active involvement in 4-H alongside her son, a testament to her commitment to fostering development and growth in both the classroom and her personal life.

Traci was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Tom Pearce, who survives her, along with their son, Timothy Pearce, and cherished mother, Tammy Campbell,

She is preceded in death by her father, Timothy Nelson and her grandfathers Bernard Nelson and Junior (Bud) Campbell.

Traci found joy in the simple pleasures of life and was known for her deep love of cooking. She took immense pride in making homemade jam and was an avid fan of Kansas University Basketball and Football, bringing enthusiasm to every game day.

Her legacy extends beyond her professional achievements, as she was especially devoted to her family. Traci's greatest joy came from being a mother, and her love for her son and family was evident in all that she did. She created a warm and loving home, filled with laughter and support, fostering an environment where her loved ones could flourish.

A celebration of life will be held 6-8pm, Friday, August 15, 2025, at Pomona Community Building, Pomona, Kansas.

As we remember Traci, we hold onto the many memories she created with those around her, and her spirit will continue to inspire kindness and love in our lives.
