Theo Paulette Escobedo, 83, went to be with the Lord on August 4th, 2025. She was born to Howard and Henrietta Tucker on July 13, 1942 in Centropolis, Kansas.

Preceded in death are her parents; her husband, Isaias Escobedo; her son, Abram Escobedo (Linda); and her great granddaughter, Elise Jeffries.

Surviving are her son, Cuauhtémoc (Maria) Escobedo; daughter, Sarah Beth (Michael) Richey (Escobedo); daughters-in-law, Linda Escobedo and Maria Escobedo; grandchildren, Francisco (Morgan) Escobedo, Caleb Escobedo, Diego Escobedo, Antonio (Ka-Yeon) Escobedo and Isabela Escobedo, Jonathan (Jessa) Richey, Hannah (Jared) Jeffries (Richey), and Tucker Richey; great-grandchildren, Samuel Richey, Marcelo Escobedo and James Jeffries; sister, Beth Hinderliter; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1960 and then attended Ozark Bible College in Missouri where she met her future husband, Isaias Escobedo. After they were married, they became Christian Missionaries in Mexico for five years. They ultimately settled in Eagle Pass, Texas to raise their three children. Theo worked in the marketing department for Mall de las Aguilas and later with the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce.

In retirement, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, painting, playing the piano and watching sports.

She will be remembered for always looking great in her hats, her kind heart, humble spirit, outstanding cooking, great laugh, and tremendous love of God and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to McLeod Hospice House 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
