Shari Ann Wood, was born on October 19, 1936, in Logansport, Indiana, passed away peacefully to her eternal home on August 11, 2025, at the age of 88, at Cedar Lake Assisted Living in Olathe, Kansas. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Shari's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and devotion to the Lord. Her passion for introducing others to Jesus exemplified the core of her being. A devoted member of the Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Louisburg, Kansas, she lived out her faith with grace and joy, sharing her belief with countless individuals throughout her life.

Beyond her faith and family, Shari found joy in the arts, often expressing herself through drawing and writing stories. Her creative spirit was a source of inspiration to many, and her ability to find beauty in the world around her reflected her loving personality.

On March 7, 1958, Shari married her beloved husband, Leslie Wood, who preceded her in death. Their union was a celebration of love and devotion that set a beautiful example for their family. Shari is survived by her three children: Terry (Barbi) Wood, Kim (Phillip) Cohen, and Brett (Stacy) Wood. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

In addition to her immediate family, Shari is survived by her loving sisters, Betty Vetor and Linda Kemp. Her family will forever treasure the memories of her kind spirit, infectious laughter, and the warmth she brought into their lives.

Shari will be remembered not only for her dedication to her faith but also for the love and light she brought to everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and a deep-rooted belief in the power of love and community.

Arrangements are pending at this time, services will be held at a future date in Indiana.
