Samuel “Sam” J. Surber, Jr. age 85, passed away August 2, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sam was a long-time resident of Johnson County, retiring from Delco Battery in 1997. Sam is survived by his wife, Jane Gatlin Surber; a sister, Shirley Lang; and three nephews, Gene Surber, Mark Lang and Mathew Lang; and three nieces, Connie Azua, Melinda Lang, and Michelle Chamberlin Cholakian.
