Ronald F. Facteau Jr., a devoted family man and dedicated professional, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at Olathe Medical Center. Born on March 2, 1942, in Rome, New York, Ron's life was marked by a steadfast commitment to his work and a deep love for his family and friends.
Ron’s career was centered around his role as a Cooling Technician at Marley Cooling Manufacturing in Olathe, where he began his employment in 1998. He faithfully served the company for many years until his well-earned retirement, demonstrating reliability and skill that earned him respect among colleagues, previous he worked in the restaurant business and Toro Manufacturing.
He cherished the time spent with those he held dear and enjoyed visiting with family and friends, valuing these connections as the cornerstone of his happiness. He was known for his warm presence and the genuine care he showed to those around him.
Ronald is survived by his beloved children: Tilisha Alexander, Kelly A. Facteau, David M. Facteau, step children Michael Casida Jr, Christopher Casida, Brian Leeker, Tamara Bounds, Bernie Leeker; wife Nancy; his siblings Patsina Moore ; and his grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who brought him joy. He was an avid traveler and his hobbies were woodworking and refurnishing furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald F. Facteau Sr. and Katherine A. Ryan; his brother Rodney Facteau, Bryan Facteau, step son Bill Leeker Jr.; and his previous wife, Jo Ann Pearce Facteau. Their memory remains a cherished part of his story.
Ronald F. Facteau Jr.’s life was one of dedication, kindness, and familial love. Those who knew him will remember his gentle spirit and his unwavering commitment to those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will be fondly remembered by all fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
