Ronald "Babe" LeRoy Cutshaw, 86, a cherished member of the Louisburg community, was born on September 2, 1939, in Merwin, Missouri, and passed away on November 12, 2025, at the Olathe Medical Center. He lived a life of dedication, hard work, and commitment, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by those who knew him.

Babe began his career at the Kansas City Country Club in Prairie Village, where he honed his work ethic and love for service. He then transitioned into the trucking industry as a driver for Ross Truck Line before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey in agriculture. He co-owned a dairy farm with his partner Rex New and later ran CPX Cattle Co alongside Bill Phillips. For the past 45 years, Babe was the proud owner and operator of Cutshaw Farm in Louisburg, where his passion for farming and livestock flourished.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Babe was known for his friendly demeanor and vibrant personality. A hard worker, Babe was harvesting the fields, just days prior to his passing. Babe never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, often found sitting on his patio welcoming neighbors and friends. His love for community extended to participating in local events, such as the annual horse pulls as well as the annual tractor pull in Louisburg, where he showcased his skills in his younger years.

Babe married Mary Jane Dees on May 22, 1956, and together they enjoyed life, often going out dancing and cherishing moments that strengthened their bond. His commitment to family was evident in his relationships with his daughters: Betty, Linda, Brenda, and Margaret. Babe was blessed with eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, who he loved dearly and brought so much joy into his life.

He is survived by daughters, Betty Gress, Linda (Carl) Clinton, Brenda (Greg) Gibson, and Margaret (Mike) Martin, eight grandchildren: Amanda Reimal, Jessie Clinton Caceres, Leslie Foster, Austin Clinton, Rockie Littleton, Stephanie Gibson, Micala Rawlins, and Melia Martin. Additionally, ten great-grandchildren, brothers: Donnie, Lonnie, and Gary Cutshaw; and sisters: Bonnie Stuteville, Norma Miller, and Connie Gast, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jane Cutshaw, parents, Tom and Betty Cutshaw, and three brothers, John, Tom, and Larry Cutshaw.

Babe will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
