Robert G. Roecker, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 9, 2026. Born on June 5, 1939, in Council Grove, Kansas, Robert was the beloved son of the late Earnest and Jessie (Merscham) Roecker.

Robert's professional journey began with Hallmark Cards, where he developed a deep appreciation for creativity and quality. In 1982, he embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Colorado and establishing an antique and art business, which he owned and operated with dedication and passion. Recently, Robert returned to Kansas, embracing the comfort of home in his later years.

In 1982, Robert married Linda Watts, forming a partnership marked by love and mutual respect. He profoundly valued family, and his legacy continues through his loving wife; his children Tracy Beard of Emporia, Kansas; Jason Roecker of Colorado; and Jerod Roecker of Texas; as well as eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Robin Nelson; and siblings Dixie Spencer, Douglas Roecker, Leroy Roecker, Wesley Roecker, and Doyle Roecker. Their memories remain a treasured part of his life.

Beyond his career and family, Robert was known for his love of woodworking—a craft that reflected his meticulous nature and creative spirit. Those who knew him remember his hands skillfully shaping wood into works of art, a hobby that brought him solace and happiness.

Cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Robert’s life was one of dedication to his family, his work, and his passions. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
