Richard Eugene Wadley

Richard Eugene Wadley, 94, of Paola, passed away on May 11, 2025, at Olathe Medical Center.

He was born on October 5, 1930, in Paola, Kansas.

Richard served in the Navy and as a Marine before working in the Logistics Department for United Moving Company for 40 years.

On June 17, 2001, he married Oreta Wadley (Bryan). Richard and Oreta lived in Paola, Kansas prior to living in Ft. Myers, Florida for several years.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Paola. He enjoyed making stain glass, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his loving Wife, Oreta, Daughter, Debi Anthony, Daughter, Amy Herron, Daughter, Sharon Davidson, Son, Harold Sevy. As well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, daughter, Karon Achey, son-in-law, Terry Herron.
