Richard James Starr

Richard James Starr, Sr., age 59, of Ottawa, Kan., died Tuesday, September 24, 2002, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on November 12, 1942 in Elmira, New York. He grew up in Elmira, moved to Roanoke, Virginia in 1977 and Ottawa in October of 2001. He was a construction worker retiring in 1977. He was the son of the late and the late Pearl (Petty) Starr. He is survived by his One Daughter, Daughter-Linda Clark Three Sons, Son & daughter-in-law-Richard J. Starr, Jr. Son & daughter-in-law-Michael & DeAnna Starr Son & daughter-in-law-Randy & Patti Starr SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Richland Cemetery, Angola, Kansas 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2002. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Jon Boyd. IN STATE: Mr. Starr will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 5 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary. CEMETERY: Richland Cemetery, Angola, Kansas.
