Nancy Jane Seyler

Nancy J. Seyler, 81, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday Dec. 6, 2025, at Advent Health in Ottawa. To honor Nancy’s wishes, cremation is planned and no services will be held.

Nancy was born July 29, 1944, in Ottawa, Kansas to Glenn Sr. and Mildred (Mason) Hamby. On July 16, 1984, Nancy was united in marriage with James “Jim” Seyler. Nancy's careers included King Radio, and later, she found fulfillment working at the Walmart Distribution Center from which she eventually retired. Nancy was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Memorial Post #5901 Auxiliary in Ottawa. Nancy enjoyed country music, old western TV shows, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Sr. and Mildred Hamby, her husband Jim Seyler, and a daughter, Terri Mongold. Survivors include Mark Moore, Barbara Kendall, Robin Burgoon, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
