Mona M. Coffman passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on July 15, 1962, Mona will be remembered as a woman of great compassion, deep faith, and a truly generous spirit. With a huge heart and a remarkable way of caring for others, she made a lasting impression on the many lives she touched.
Mona attended Neosho College and went on to serve as an occupational therapist, a profession that reflected her caring nature and her desire to help others. She was known as a phenomenal human being whose kindness reached far beyond her work. Ministry was an important part of her life, and her faith remained central to who she was. She loved the beach, found peace in her daily walks, and had a special gift with children. She loved children, and children loved her in return.
She shared eight years of marriage with her husband, David Coffman. Their relationship began when they met through the Christian congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, a meaningful beginning to a life they built together. Mona’s devotion to her faith, family, and friends shaped the way she lived each day and the way she cared for those around her.
She is preceded in death by her mother Beverly Marie Gale (Kansas City, Kansas) and father Dean Noe (Farmington, Kansas).
Mona is survived by her husband, David, and by her children, Daniel, Chad, Katie and Glen, six grandchildren, step-mother Betty, sisters Jo, Tracy, Nina and brother Ty. She leaves behind family and friends who knew her faith, love, and her kindness. Those who were closest to her will carry forward the memory of her kindness, her faith, and the comfort she brought into their lives.
A memorial service will be held on September 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3139 K-68 Hwy, Ottawa, KS 66067.
