Michael Scott Hoyle, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 25, 2025, in Ottawa, Kansas. Born on December 19, 1955, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Michael's life was marked by his enduring love for family and unwavering commitment to his passions. He married Sandra Showalter at St. Patrick's Church in Wyandotte on February 29, 1992. Together, they celebrated thirty-one years of a joyful marriage, filled with shared experiences and treasured memories.
Michael was a dedicated father to his sons, Regan Orr (Jay), of Ottawa, Kansas. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his grandchildren, Michael Orr and Addison Orr, with whom he loved to spend time nurturing their interests and creating lasting bonds.
Among his hobbies, Michael had a deep-seated passion for sports, particularly his support for Royals baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs football team. He also enjoyed golfing and found joy in mowing his lawn. Michael's enthusiasm for life extended beyond his personal interests; he was known for his warm and inviting presence, which brought family and friends together.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Sandra; two sons Jay and Regan; grandchildren Michael and Addison; his brother Joe Hoyle and sister-in-law Debbie of Spring Hill, Kansas; and brothers-in-law Jeff Showalter and Rick Showalter.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob Orr, and his parents-in-law, Harold Showalter and Norma Showalter.
Cremation is planned with no services scheduled at this time.
Michael will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and devotion to family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
