Mary Ellen Morrow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at her residence near Richmond, Kansas. Born on October 27, 1938, in Waverly, Kansas to parents Floyd Olin and Lela Rose (Cox) Brock, Mary was a cherished member of her family and community.

Mary completed her education at Richmond High School in Richmond, Kansas, graduating in 1956. For thirty-one years she was a dedicated employee of King Radio which became Bendix King and later Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. Away from work she was known for her love of fishing, playing games (especially Yahtzee, Pitch and casino games), and athletic sports of any kind. Mary was an avid Kansas State Wildcat and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She was also known by friends and family for her ability to create a feast, often with little advance notice.

In a union of love that spanned more than 50 years, she married Richard Eugene Morrow on June 9, 1957, in Richmond, Kansas. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and the warmth of a close-knit family. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2009. Mary was deeply devoted to her family and friends, consistently putting their needs and happiness above her own.

She is survived by sons Mike Morrow of Sealy, Texas, Tim Morrow (Theresa) of Ottawa, Kansas, Larry Morrow of Richmond, and Rod Morrow of Ottawa; and daughter, Nancy Kimball (Jim) of Lane, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren: Stacy, Ross, Nicholas, Becky, Leland, Mark, Timothy, Tiffany, Greg, Kayla, Gracelynn, Jeremy, Levi, and Raelee; eighteen great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry (Marie) and Gary Brock (Judy); and sister-in-law, Carol Welton.

Along with her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Eugene and James Brock; and sisters Florine Kreie and Rosie Mullinax. Additionally, she mourned the loss of her granddaughter, Kelli, who holds a special place in the hearts of her family.

Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love and loyalty, dedication to her family, and the positive impact she had on the lives of those around her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the countless memories she created with her loved ones. She leaves behind not only a legacy of hard work and dedication but also a profound love that will linger in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Mary will be missed deeply by those she left behind.
