Throughout her life, she cultivated a variety of passions that brought joy to those around her. In her younger years, she enjoyed waterskiing and bowling, activities that illustrated her zest for life. Later, she took pleasure in knitting, playing games, solving puzzles, and was known as an avid reader. Yet, her most cherished interest remained her family, to whom she was a steadfast supporter and a source of unconditional love.
Nan was united in marriage to William Jung III on March 25, 1961, a partnership that was valued, even as they later divorced. Together, they welcomed a loving family that consists of her son Bill Jung (Sue), son Bob Jung (Cheri), daughter Pam Lunger (Steve), son Brian Jung, daughter Jodi Harrell (Brett), and son Ryan Jung. Mary also had the joy of being a grandmother to seventeen grandchildren and a great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her brother Rick McCabe (Cheryl) and sister-in-law Kate McCabe, who alongside her children and grandchildren, will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother David McCabe, both of whom she cherished deeply.
