Mary Lou Baker died at the age of 87. She was born November 18, 1937 and passed away August 16, 2025. She was the daughter of Robert and Amy McCurdy/Wilson.

She was a lifelong resident of Ottawa, KS or always lived close by.

Mary was united in marriage to Nilo Baker September 1. 1957.

She was a very hard worker! She worked at King Radio for many years before retiring. Most importantly on her list was family! This meant the world to her. Among other things, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling in her younger years, antiquing, playing Wahoo (cheating) with siblings, and playing pool.

She had a lot of family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Nilo Baker, son Terry Baker, son Clifford Baker, mother Amy Wilson, father growing up Ralph Wilson, brothers and sisters Loren McCurdy, Ralph Jr Wilson, Robert McCurdy, Gary Wilson, Roberta Yohe, and Ruby McKay.

Mary had three children Terry Baker, Clifford Baker, and Nila Eichhorn and her husband Gary Allan. She also had three grandchildren, Danny Baker and his wife Amber, Richard Allan and his wife Amber, and Brandon Eichhorn and his wife Shanna. She also had 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed!

A graveside service will be held 1:00pm, on August 22, 2025, at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas.
