Linda May Cole

Linda May Cole, 71, of Paola, passed away on July 10, 2024 at her home in Hillsdale, KS.

Visitation will take place July 17, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Hillsdale Presbyterian Church.

She was born on August 8, 1952 to Donald and Shirley (Mitchell) Carr in Kansas City, MO.

Linda retired as a accounting manager for NCSC. She was an avid crafter, card making was her passion. Linda also enjoyed spending her time fishing, gardening, especially planting her tomatoes and hulaberries. She was a shopaholic. Linda will always be known for her kind heart. Always making friends with others and showing compassion while also having a snarky streak.

On July 13, 1991, she married Thomas E. Cole. Linda and Tom lived in Hillsdale, Kansas.

She was a member and elder of the Hillsdale Presbyterian Church.

Linda is survived by her loving Husband, Thomas , Daughter, Marsha McFarland, Step-Daughter, Amy M. Bailey, Granddaughters, Tamara Thompson and Peyton McFarland, Sister, Jean Bland, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Donald Carr, Mother, Shirley Carr, Son Christopher David Riley, Step-Son, Michael S. Cole, Sisters, Diane Pointon and Paula Garber.
