Lewis Lawrence

Lewis G. Lawrence, age 100, formerly of Stilwell, Kansas, passed away June 27, 2013 at the Louisburg Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Lewis was born January 11, 1913 in Bates County, Missouri to Samuel and Mary Etter (Bradley) Lawrence. He was the sixth born of their nine children. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Marion, Marshall, Otis, and Oran, and two sisters, Lura Dean and Lorene Briggs. Lewis is survived by a sister Margaret Stuteville, a brother Tom Lawrence, both of Stilwell, and his companion of twenty-plus years Maude Baker.
