Joshua Ray Evans

Joshua Ray Josh Evans, age 17, of Lane, Kansas, died Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born on Saturday, August 13, 1994, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Clarence and Billie Rae (Ybarra) Evans. He was a lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident. Josh attended Ottawa and Central Heights schools. He worked as a rig operator for Lone Star Oil. He is survived by his: Father-Clarence Evans of the home; Paternal Grandmother-Delores Andrews of Ottawa, Kansas; Sister-Marissa Neal of Lane, Kansas; Brother-Daniel Evans of Lane, Kansas and many friends. He is preceded in death by his Mother-Billie Rae (Ybarra) Evans. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012. IN STATE: Mr. Evans will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Thursday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Thursday evening.
