Joan G. Krumm

Joan G. Krumm, age 90, of Paola Kansas, was called to her heavenly home, on the wings of angels, on May 7, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1935 in Olathe, Kansas.

Her greatest treasure was her family, whom she deeply loved and cherished. Joanie was a devoted Mamma of 6 children: Thomas (Diane) Krumm, Jeanne (Phil) Hausman, Janet (Billy) Rinn, Joan M. Krumm, Jewl Krumm, August (Monica) Krumm.

She was a proud Nani of 14 grandchildren: 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. She was lovingly adored by each of them. She held a special place in her heart for her Godchildren: Dale Krumm, and Christi Johnson.

Joanie's greatest loyalty and love was her deep faith in Jesus Christ. She was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Louisburg, where she took on important roles in the Altar Society and shared her love of music through participation in the Church Choir.

Joanie lived the life of simplicity, placing the needs of others before her own. Finding joy in the little things and embracing the moments spent with family and friends. She enjoyed telling stories, dancing, gardening, and singing. Her natural gift of unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around her.

Joanie is joined in rest with her parents: Heinrich and Frances (Bechler) Paulsen; her siblings, Barney, Bob, Mary, Steve, and Rita; her granddaughter, Jillian Hausman, and great-grandson, Cooper Rinn.

She leaves behind a legacy of boundless love for those she held most dear. We were blessed to be touched by her existence. The imprint she left on our hearts exceeds beyond her time on earth.

SHE WILL FOREVER BE OUR SUNSHINE!

Rest in Eternal Peace Mamma, with Our Almighty God. We love you and miss you, our beautiful Nani.

Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 606 S Elm Street, Louisburg, KS 66053. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be private for immediate family members following the mass at New Lancaster Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to Lakemary Center or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, P.O. Box 669, Louisburg, KS 66053.
