Jessie Marie Butler

She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. Jessie graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1935. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband at his store, Butler`s Music, for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ottawa. She was also a member of a monthly sewing circle and of the `Fun & Friends` ladies group. On June 26, 1938, Jessie was united in marriage with Walter L. Butler at her parent`s home in Ottawa. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Mrs. Butler requested her body be donated for research at University of Kansas Medical Center, Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology. There will be private family services at a later date. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
