RESIDENCE HISTORY: Hazel grew up and lived in Ottawa until moving, at the age of twelve, with her family to Woodson County, Kansas, returning to Ottawa in 1932. EDUCATION: Hazel attended schools in Ottawa and Toronto, Kansas. OCCUPATION & BUSINESS: Hazel was a lifelong homemaker. MEMBERSHIPS: Hazel was a member of First United Methodist Church and Sunshine Sunday School Class, Ottawa, Dorcas Circle of the United Methodist Women, and Fairmont Extension Homemaker Unit. MARRIAGE: On December 26, 1932, Hazel was united in marriage with Raymond Calvin Ledom at Eureka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1992. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2005. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Jim Stigall. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Ledom at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will meet with friends 7:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
