Glenda A. Jensen, born on February 20, 1944, in Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on September 25, 2025, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was a beloved member of her community and family, and her loss will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Glenda was known for her vivacious spirit and her zest for life. Throughout her journey, she worked at R Ranch in Napa, California, and brought joy to many during her time at Disneyland, where her passion for entertainment and hospitality shone brightly. She also had a successful career as a manicurist in Southern California, where she showcased her creativity and personal touch, leaving a lasting impression on her clients.

In her younger years, Glenda enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including oil painting, where she expressed her artistic flair, and her love for the outdoors, particularly through waterskiing and her fondness for horses. These passions defined her vibrant character and brought her immense joy.

Recently, Glenda returned to her hometown of Ottawa, Kansas, where she cherished the opportunity to reconnect with family, including her aunt, uncle, and cousins. Her close-knit family was an essential part of her life, and she took great comfort in strengthening those bonds.

Glenda is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Wittman and Katrina Hern, who will carry forward her spirit and legacy. She relished her role as a grandmother to Michael Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Anna Falcon, and Anthony Falcon, who brought her endless joy and pride. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Jones, and brother, Michael Jones, who, along with her children and grandchildren, will miss her deeply.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Glen E. Jones, Jr. and Dorothy R. (Wantland) Jones, whose love and guidance shaped her into the person she became.

A graveside service will be held on October 2, 2025, at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas. The service will begin at 11:30 AM and conclude at 12:30 PM.

Glenda’s memory will forever hold a place in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be missed deeply.
