Gerry Sue Law

Gerry Sue Law, 85, of Paola, passed away on November 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 1, 1940, to Murl and Darleen (Tush) Billam in Kansas City, Kansas.

Gerry Sue worked as a Certified Medical Assistant.

On November 14, 1958, she married Herbert Lee Law. Gerry and Herbert made their home in Paola, Kansas. They had two children together, Michael Law and Melissa Heaton.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Gerry Sue is survived by her loving husband, Herbert, son, Michael Steven Law, daughter, Melissa Ann (Doug) Heaton, grandchildren, Joshua Heaton, Robyn (Alex) Smith, Ethan Law, Kara (Jonathon) Palmer, and Jillian Law. As well as great-grandchildren, Ava Reece Smith, Bennett Alexander Smith, Carter Allan Palmer, and Henry David Palmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mildred Murline Billam, Lenora Jean Billam, Rita Nadine Davis, half-brother, Glen Edward Tush, and brother, John Thomas Billam.

Visitation will be held at 1:00pm at the Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Memorial service will follow beginning at 2:00pm.
