Gene E. Steger

Gene E. Steger, 78, of Louisburg, Ks. passed away on April 9, 2014 at Louisburg Care & Rehabilitation Center, Louisburg, KS. Gene"s request was to have no services and to donate his body to the Kansas University School of Medicine. Gene was born August 1, 1935, the son of Homer and Helen (Long) Steger at Louisburg, KS. He worked in automotive sales before retiring. Gene served in the United States Army from 1955 through 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Chad. Survivors include one son, Michael G. Steger, Wellington, FL; one brother, Tom Steger (Beverly), Louisburg, KS; and three grandchildren. Contributions can be made to the Louisburg Senior Citizens Center.
