Dorothy Jean (Stowe) Rucker, 94, passed away on October 12, 2023. Visitation will take place at Dengel and Son Mortuary – Paola Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on Saturday, October 21, 2023. A graveside service will follow at Rockville Cemetery located at 375th Villa Ln, Louisburg, KS 66053 at 12:30 p.m.
Dorothy was born September 21, 1929, the only child of Everett Stowe and Vera (Rhea) Stowe.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her husband Ted Rucker; parents Everett and Vera Stowe; step-mother Elsie Matney Sheldon Stowe; and son-in-law Lee Lemson.
Survivors include her daughter Debra Lemson, Wharton, TX; son Terry Rucker, Denver, CO; daughter Diane Cornelius (Lane), Raytown, MO; and daughter Sharon Dooling (Darold), San Antonio, TX. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials contributions can be made to Paola United Methodist Church, Paola, KS or to the charity of your choice.
