DOROTHY M. POTTER Dorothy M. Potter, 99, of Paola, Kan., passed away July 22, 2008, at Louisburg Care Center. She was born August 4, 1908, in Kansas City, Kan., to Dr. and Mrs. Robert Barker. She is survived by her daughter, Patty Shofner of Overland Park, Kan.; three grandchildren, Tracy Browne, Wichita, Kan., Kelly Henry, Hays, Kan., and Craig Shofner, St. Louis, Mo. Also surviving are five great grandchildren, Courtney and Chloe Browne and Oliver, Emma and Abby Henry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 a.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Paola Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paola Methodist Church.
