RESIDENCE HISTORY: She lived in Waverly since 1985, moving there from Ottawa, where she had lived in the Ottawa and Pomona area since 1963. She had previously lived in Topeka. EDUCATION: Donna graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1947, and attended nursing school in Kansas City. OCCUPATION & BUSINESS: She was a cook at several Ottawa and Pomona restaurants, including Pomona Cafe, Lee`s Downtowner, Hill House, and Ottawa Country Club. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly. MARRIAGE: On August 11, 1948, Donna was united in marriage with John E. McKenzie in Joplin, Missouri. They were later divorced. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. McKenzie at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 2:00 p.m. on Monday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Monday evening.
