Donald Eugene “Don” Hanes, 78, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on Monday, August 19, 1935 in Osawatomie, Kansas, the son of Lyle and Eva (Andrews) Hanes. Dengel & Son Mortuary conducted a private family burial on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Kansas. The family would like to thank everyone for their support through this difficult time.
