Listen to Obituary

Diane Minden, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cherished friend, and devoted member of her community, passed away on June 19, 2026. She was born on July 17, 1963, in Paola, Kansas, a place that would remain close to her heart throughout her life.

Diane grew up in Paola and attended school in her hometown, graduating with the Paola High School class of 1981. Eager to pursue her passion, she continued her education at Pittsburg School of Beauty in Pittsburg, Kansas, where she honed the skills that would shape her lifelong career.

From 1982 until 2015, Diane owned and operated Diane’s Hair Salon from her home. She took great pride in her work and was deeply committed to providing care and confidence to each person who walked through her door. Her salon was not simply a place for haircuts; it was a gathering space for friends and neighbors, a reflection of Diane’s warmth and connection to her community.

Diane’s life was rich in interests and passions. She was known for her love of flowers and the plants that adorned her home, tending to them with the same loving attention she gave to those around her. An avid follower of the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, Diane rarely missed a game and shared her enthusiasm with her family. She also enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching movies, often with the closed captions on, and found joy in spending quiet evenings entertained by stories onscreen.

A woman of faith, Diane was a dedicated member of Block Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. Her steadfast devotion and active participation in the church community were integral parts of her life and a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.

Above all, Diane’s family meant the world to her. She is remembered as a loving, strong-willed, and ornery—a spirit that brightened every room and shaped a legacy of kindness and strength for her loved ones. Diane treasured her grandchildren deeply, whom she affectionately called “her babies,” and their happiness and company brought her endless joy.

She is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Katie Mitzner. Diane is survived by her two daughters, Kendra (Jeron) Fuller and Mallory (Jonathan) Juin, her beloved grandchildren, Kyia Fuller, Josslyn Fuller, Talen Fuller, B.J. Juin, and Christopher Juin, great grandchild, Wrenley Dean Kueser, parents, William and Mary Beth Mitzner, sister Vicky (Mark) Hamilton, brother, Jim Mitzner, as well as many extneded family members and close friends.

Diane leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and unwavering spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know her, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those she held close.
