Charlene Cardwell

Charlene Rose (Anderson) Cardwell was born May 23, 1938 in Parkville, Kansas to Ralph Sr. and Mary (Bower) Anderson. She worked several careers including AT & T (Strategic Air Command) and King Radio. Her greatest joy was working the family farm and raising her son. Later in life she was devoted to her dogs.

Survived by her Son Dr. Mitch and Angela Cardwell of Pengilly, MN; granddaughters Hunter Cardwell (John Smith) of Fargo, ND and Raina Cardwell (Maria Vaaler) of Fort Collins, CO; sister Lola Villwock (Gary) of Baxter, MN; nieces and nephews Michael Villwock (Barb), Andrew Wilson (Patti), Kathlene Ewatt (Bruce), Kenneth Wilson (Cindy), Ann Derr (Matt), Elizabeth Wilson, Penny Anderson (Johnny), Cori Anderson (Bobby); and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents Ralph Sr. and Mary (Bower) Anderson, sister Margaret Ann Wilson, brother Ralph Jr and his wife Margaret Anderson, nephews Scott Villwock and Tony Anderson.

Graveside services will be held 10am, Monday, August 11, 2025 at Peoria Cemetery, Peoria, Kansas.
