Beverly Kay Vogler, a cherished member of the Franklin County community and a devoted family member, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. Born on July 26, 1936, in Ottawa, Kansas to parents George and Hallie (Pearson) Kyle. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a proud graduate of Wellsville High School, graduating with the class of 1954.
Throughout her life, Beverly dedicated herself to her career as a bank manager, serving with distinction at Kansas State Bank and Peoples Bank. Her professionalism and commitment to her work were matched only by her devotion to her family and faith. A beloved member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa, she found strength and community in her beliefs.
On May 13, 1957, Beverly united in marriage to Fred Vogler, with whom she shared a rich life filled with love and adventure. Together, they traveled, creating cherished memories, while Beverly immersed herself in her hobbies and interests, which included quilting, gardening both flowers and produce, cooking and baking, all of which were testimony to her nurturing spirit.
Beverly is survived by daughter, Susan Langton; son, Doug Vogler; brother, Bill Kyle; and sister, Vivian Dikeman. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, parents, and sister Georgeanna Simmons.
A memorial service will be held on June 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Dengel & Son Mortuary, located at 235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, Kansas. Friends and family are invited to gather as they celebrate a life well-lived.
