Betty Ruth Bishop

She was a lifelong resident of Pomona. Betty attended Boyd School and earned her Certificate of Art from Ottawa University. She was a homemaker. She was also employed as a seamstress by H. D. Lee, of Ottawa, for several years. She was a member of Pomona United Methodist Church. On August 22, 1947, Betty was united in marriage with Lonnie E. Cox at Harrisonville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1968. On December 22, 1973, Betty was united in marriage with Allen William Bishop at Baldwin City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2001. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona. INURNMENT: Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.
