Betty Ann Armstrong

Betty Ann Armstrong, 87, of Paola, Kansas, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Olathe Hospice House after a brief illness. Betty Ann was born on November 11, 1937, in Paola and was the first child of Henry Walker Armstrong and Catherine Marie Carruthers Armstrong. She attended Paola public schools and graduated in 1957. Attending class reunions was an event she always looked forward to.

Betty Ann was employed by Honeywell International Inc., formerly King Radio, where she spent many years and made lasting friendships. She enjoyed watching the Royals and the Chiefs games on her TV and was known to watch Hallmark Christmas movies all year. Forever an Elvis fan, she enjoyed listening to his songs during her final days.

Betty Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shane Arthur Haney; brothers, William Armstrong, Henry Armstrong, and Donald Armstrong. She is survived by her sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews, an aunt, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Olathe Health Hospice House or the charity of your choice c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel 305 N. Pearl St. Paola, KS 66071.

There will be a private burial of cremated remains at a later date.
