Avery Dale Ouderkirk, Jr.

Avery Dale Ouderkirk, Jr., 74, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born Wednesday, April 7, 1943, in Boise , ID, the son of Avery Dale, Sr., and Clara Elam Ouderkirk. He was united in marriage to Janet "Jan" L. Showalter in1990. Survivors are his wife Jan of the home; two sons Dale Ouderkirk and Kevin Ouderkirk; two daughters Angela Young and Melinda Schenker; a sister Pat Wendling; a brother Wendell Ouderkirk; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was an over the road truck driver for many years retiring from Butler Transportation Company. Cremation, no services are planned.
