Arietta Alice Watts

She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Kansas. Arietta attended Greenwood School. She was a homemaker and Certified Nurse`s Aid. In the 1960`s and 1970`s, she worked at Crestview and Cedarhouse in Ottawa, and Richmond Nursing Home. She was a member of the Chippewa Indian Tribe. On June 22, 1931, Arietta was united in marriage with Sample `Samp` Watts at Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1989. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005. OFFICIATING MINISTER: Tom Moreau. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Watts at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Tuesday evening.
