Alberta Kay Lucas, 80, of Scott City, passed away on January 7, 2025, at Parkview Heights Care Center of Garnett, KS. Cremation is planned with services in Scott City, KS.
She was born on August 20, 1944, to Floyd and Eileen (Schmitt) Strickert in Scott City, KS.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Strickert, and father, Floyd Strickert
Alberta is survived by her son, Troy Lucas and wife Lisa of Ottawa, KS. Three grandchildren, Kaylee Silvers (Jake) of Paola, KS. Alisyn Lucas of Paola, KS and Cody Lucas (Chandler) of Olathe, KS. Younger sister Kate of Hays, KS. and younger brother Dick Strickert (Debbie) of Wichita, KS.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to The Scott County VIP Center.
