Oma Faye Dickey, 96, of Crescent, Oklahoma, formerly of Pomona, Kansas died on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She was born on Saturday, July 13, 1912, in Pomona, Kansas. She was the daughter of John William and Martha Lexie (Evans) Johnson. RESIDENCE HISTORY: Oma was a near lifelong resident of Franklin County, Kansas moving into Pomona in 1947. She moved to Crescent, Oklahoma in 2005. EDUCATION: She attended school in Pomona and the Ottawa business College. MEMBERSHIPS: Oma was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Flower Club and the Craft Club, all of Pomona. MARRIAGE: In 1933, Oma was united in marriage with Clark Carleton in Pomona, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1947. She married Robert L. Bob Dickey on September 3, 1950, in Quenemo, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1991. SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Dickey at Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday to service hour.
