Marjorie "Marge" Divine, age 82, of Louisburg, KS, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 30, 2009. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Louisburg Chapel, with burial to follow in Louisburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 " 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Marge was born October 17, 1926, along with her twin sister, Betty, to Henry and Katherine Klohr in Mattoon, IL. She married the love of her life, R.H. "Andy" Divine, in Indianapolis, IN, in 1947. They relocated to Prairie Village, KS, in 1956, and then to Overland Park. In 1977, they moved to Louisburg. Marge was a homemaker and a preschool teacher. She was a lifelong member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald H. Divine; two brothers, Jim Klohr and Charles Klohr; and two sisters, Betty Acord and Norma Lucas. Survivors include her children, Pam Divine, Olathe, KS; Pat and husband Steve Stangl, Overland Park, KS; Richard and wife Helen Divine, Drexel, MO; Peggy Gastmann, Olathe, KS; and Bill Divine, Louisburg, KS; sister, Martha Zentz, Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren, Zach, Jessi and Katy Stangl, Becky and Clint Divine, Rachel Gastmann, Kari, Seth and Ethan Divine; and one great-grandchild, Dylon Bolden. Marge was known for her sense of humor and left this world laughing. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Midland or Vitas Hospice.
