John L. Smith

John Lewis Smith, age 69, of Liberty, MO passed away at his home on October 13, 2014. He was born February 22, 1945, in Louisburg, KS, the son of William and Lillian (Brown) Smith Sollenberger. He lived in the Louisburg area for many years where he attended elementary and high school, graduating with the class of 1963. John served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Survivors include one son, John Smith, Kearney, Mo; one daughter, Diana Wilcox, Gladstone, MO; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles, Jerry and Bill Smith and one sister, Alice Isabell. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Louisburg American Legion Post #250.
