Harry Milton Tucker

March 15, 1924 — October 9, 2005

A lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident, Milton grew up in Williamsburg, moving to Princeton in 1949, and Ottawa in 1960. Milton graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1942. He was a welder for the Santa Fe Railroad thirty-three years, mostly based in Chanute, Kansas, retiring in 1986. He was also a lifelong farmer and cattleman. He was a Past Master and life member of Williamsburg Anchor Lodge #224 fifty-eight years. On May 4, 1956, Milton was united in marriage with Nathalee Bliss in Williamsburg, Kansas. She survives of their home. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2005. IN STATE: Mr. Tucker will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Williamsburg Anchor Lodge #224, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
