Esther Ann Brady

Esther A. Schroeder-Brady, 80, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Esther’s wishes were for cremation with a private burial at a later date. Family will meet with friends for a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Esther was born Wednesday, February 21, 1934, in Germantown, Illinois, the daughter of George and Catherine (Wellen) Timmerman. She had lived in Ottawa since the early 1950’s. Esther married Wally Schroeder September 6, 1952, in Germantown, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Connie Mummer. Survivors include her children, Rhonda Wood of Ottawa, and Rick Schroeder; and brother, David Timmerman. She was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #5901.
