Dola Lorene “Terry” Hall, 92, of Olathe, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Zion Cemetery, Watson, Kansas. Terry was born April 10, 1927, in Vermillion, Kansas, the daughter of Maurice Winfield and Annie Maxey (Van Gilder) Aumiller. She lived in Sycamore Springs, Kansas as a child moving to Topeka in 1943. She graduated from Topeka High School with the class of 1945. Terry was employed for the 832nd Specialized Depot in Pauline, Kansas; Cosby’s Department Store and Kansas Hotel in the auditing department until her marriage to Jack Vernon Hall August 28, 1949, in Topeka. They moved to Manhattan, Kansas where Jack attended Kansas State College, graduating in June 1952. Upon Jack’s graduation from college they moved to Leavenworth, Kansas to work for the Soil Conservation Service Department of Agriculture in 1952. They transferred to Fredonia in 1958, transferred to Olathe in 1961, and transferred again to Ottawa in 1974. She was a life member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Aumiller; husband, Jack Hall; mother, Ann Aumiller-Jellison; stepfather, Willis Jellison; and stepmother, Florence Johnson Aumiller. She is survived by her only son, Greg Hall and wife Diana of Olathe; two grandsons, Ryan Hall of Olathe and Eric Hall and wife Liz of Overland Park; great grandson, Jack Oren Hall; and two sisters, Marlene Lindemuth and Ramona Schell both of Topeka.
