Delorah Sue Barber, 60, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September, 3, 2016. Memorial service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Family will meet with friends immediately following the service. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Delorah was born Tuesday, July 10, 1956, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Sidney L. and Mildred Jeanette (Bennett) Barber. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1974. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Mildred Barber; son, Brandon Crane; and sister, Denise Barber. Survivors include her children, Kelli Woolsey and husband Scott of Louisburg, Kodi Crane and husband Francisco Perez of Lawrence, Erin Gipson and husband James Jr. of Wakefield, and Tommy “T.J.” Barber of Ottawa; brother, Bruce Moses and wife Jan of Vassar; sister, Devra Coiner and husband Jim of Gardner; and thirteen grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker who also worked as a grocery clerk for Aldies and Country Mart. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Ottawa. Delorah loved her family, grandchildren and friends. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Delorah Barber Memorial Fund c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
