Dengel
& Son Receives Prestigious Emeritus Award from the National Funeral
Directors Association
“Pursuit
of Excellence funeral homes provide innovative and compassionate care to
families they serve,” said N.F.D.A. Chief Executive Officer Christine
Pepper, CAE. “Through their commitment to their communities and the highest
professional standards, these funeral homes are raising the bar for all
funeral services providers in the country.” Achieving
recognition in the Pursuit of Excellence program is a rigorous process. A
funeral home must meet strict quality service criteria in nine categories
of achievement. The categories include: mandatory compliance, education,
compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional
service, library or media resources, professional development, in-house
staff training, and public and community relations.
To earn the status of Emeritus a funeral home must previously
achieve a Golden Eagle, and 3 prior Eagle awards.
"We
are pleased to announce this award to the community because it is a symbol
of the mission that the Dengel & Son Mortuary has aspired to meet
since 1944. Dengel & Son will be of service to families before,
during, and after the time a family needs funeral assistance. It is our
goal to enrich our surrounding community through providing the highest
quality of service in their time of need and also by becoming a community
resource in the area of death and dying”, said Craig Dengel, owner of
Dengel & Son Mortuary. N.F.D.A. is the world’s largest funeral service organization, representing approximately 12,200 funeral directors and is headquartered in Brookfield, WI Home | History | Facilities
