cost. In our pursuit of this commitment all items we provide are priced
individually (Itemized). We do this by recommendation of the Federal Trade
Commission to ease the difficulty of understanding funeral expenses.
We want our families to purchase only those items they deem necessary. We do not
package items together to force you to use what you may not want or
need. Look over our prices. You will see they are easy to understand and less expensive than packaged
services.
In an effort to be consumer friendly, our price list is available to everyone to
take home and review. It is placed in our foyer so that anyone who is
interested can
take one without asking.

You may choose only the items you desire.
However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for
our basic services and overhead. If
legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically
ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide
describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF

Our fee for the services
of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond
to initial request for service:
Arrangement of funeral; conference with family or responsible party;
preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital
statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; staff assistance
prior during and following the funeral, including coordination with those
providing other services, e.g. cemetery, and others.
Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our
facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and
administrative costs, and equipment and inventory cost.
This fee for our services
will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select.
(This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations,
immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
This is a Non-Declinable fee.
