Timotea (Jasso) Oviedo

Timotea (Jasso) Oviedo, age 76, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at her home. She was born on Sunday, December 29, 1935 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco in Mexico, the daughter of Seferino and Lucia (Valdervamo-Prado) Jasso.

She lived thirty-five years in Reynosa, Tamaulipas in Mexico, moving to Ottawa in1982.

Timotea was a homemaker and worked ten years at Pizza Hut in Ottawa, retiring in 1997.

Timotea was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1982.

On Friday, February 28, 1975, Timotea was united in marriage with Adan Oviedo Soto at Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico. He survives of their home.

She is survived by her: Husband – Adan Oviedo of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter - Juanita Neave of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter - Lisa Jasso of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter - Marisella Oviedo of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter – Esther Oviedo of Ottawa, Kansas; Brother -Richard Jasso of Pittsburg, Kansas; Sister - Graciela Jasso Valderrama of Reynosa, Mexico and Seven - Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: Parents – Seferino and Lucia (Valdervamo-Prado) Jasso; Brother - Juan Jose Jasso; Sister - Luz Jave; Sister - Bartala Davalos; Sister - Josephina Jasso and Sister - Sabina Jasso.

SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012.

IN STATE: Mrs. Oviedo will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, where a Rosary will be said in Spanish at 6:20 Wednesday evening, followed by a visitation.

CEMETERY: Mount Calvary Cemetery in Ottawa.
